The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan

At Health Wellbeing & Diet Coach, we are passionate about helping people manage their weight, get fitter and feel good about themselves. To manage your weight healthily at Health
Wellbeing & Diet Coach we support you with a bespoke ‘Healthy Eating Plan’.

To function properly our bodies need a daily intake of a full range of essential nutrients, including a variety of fruits, vegetables, pulses, whole grains, low fat dairy products, lean meats and healthy oils such as olive.

The food we eat contain two main categories of nutrients:

Macronutrients & Micronutrients

Macronutrients are needed in large quantities every day and form the foundation of any diet - They include proteins, carbohydrates and fats these provide our energy.

Vitamins and minerals are found in small amounts in foods and make up the Micronutrients.

Most foods contain both and the key to achieving a ‘healthy & well balanced diet’ is to eat a wide variety of different foods.

Our Diet Plans

In recent years scientists have extended their understanding of the link between nutrition and health.

It is now clear that eating particular foods contributes to good health and prevent disease.

Any food can fit into a healthy way of eating - They key is to balance your choices so your overall diet is sound.

At Health Wellbeing & Diet Coach we believe making good choices starts with educating ourselves on the nutritional guidelines and incorporating these into our daily eating habits.

For example by eating a variety of nutrient rich foods, enjoying plenty of whole grains, vegetables, and fruits, and eating regular meals with moderate portions you can manage your weight and stay healthy.

In our educational sessions we look at improving our health through diet, the topics include:

  • Portion and Serving Sizes
  • Five a Day for Essential Health
  • Eating away from home healthily
  • Why ‘Fad’ diets don’t work and what does
  • Why weight control is important
  • Learning the difference between Hunger, Desire & Cravings.

At any stage of life, a nutritious, balanced diet can help prevent, and in many cases, can treat existing disorders such as diabetes type 2 and obesity.

During our first consultation, we will discuss your health, lifestyle, and weight management goals. It's important that we understand your needs fully: whether you have any allergies or take any medication, whether you want to put on or lose weight, whether you have any medical conditions such as diabetes type 2 or high blood pressure and what your eating and lifestyle habits are.

Note: Please consult with your GP before starting any diet or fitness programme. Your physician will inform you of whether the programme is suitable for you.
